Kim Mendez

This is my 25th year in education and 12th in the library! I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with my bachelor's degree in psychology and the University of North Texas with my Master's in Information and Library Sciences. I have 4 children and 1 very cute, mischievous one-eyed toy poodle.

If you have any questions regarding the library or would like to volunteer, please email me at kimberley.mendez@pfisd.net.

Welcome to Dearing Elementary! The mission of the DRES library is to support curriculum taught in the classroom, enhance the lives of students through an understanding and love of literature, provide students with information literacy training to become life-long learners, and be responsible users of ideas and information.
